Two new rigs, designed by Richie specifically for Eastern European applications and built by GEMSA GENERAL MAKINA in Turkey have been mobilized for the project. They are track mounted, big capacity machines which can negotiate mountainous terrain. The rigs are mainly kept very low with minimum standard widths and weights. These rigs provide all the client with all options of a multi-purpose rig: reverse circulation, diamond drilling, dewatering wells, production wells, draining holes and geo-tech drilling.

All machines are CE certified, track mounted and capable of 1500MTRS NQ Diamond, 450MTR R/C. Based on the Australian style and popular UDR 1000 MkV machines, they have been made more practical for conditions in Eastern Europe in dimensions, serviceability and reliability. They also conform with European manufacturing standards. The rigs have improvements like dust collectors, on board cyclones, auto blow down systems etc. Ancillary equipment is also designed and manufactured specifically: track mounted compressor packs, Atlas Copco 1250cfm/435 psi compressors, booster available also to give up to 1000 psi of pressure.
